Sorry I haven’t written anything on here in a while, I’ve been crazy busy with work. Four weeks ago I started a new job as Social Media Manager for Amaze in Manchester and have spent the last few weeks finding my feet.
If anyone had asked me 6 weeks ago where I wanted to be in 5/10 years time I would have said this. Everything’s changed very quickly; I was offered a fantastic opportunity to do what I love for some fantastic world famous brands while working with and learning from some of the best brains in the industry.
It’s a huge challenge, I’m loving every second of it so far and I’m going to give it my best shot. I promise I will be back sharing nuggets of information, interests, digital insights and random quotes soon.
I know I have my moments of being super nerdy but you have to see these 20 Most Amazing Pictures of Outer Space: they are so cool. Growing up I loved learning everything about space and our solar system; I was and still am completely fascinated by outerspace (and alien conspiracy theories but that’s kinda irrelevant in this post). I dare you not to even get twinges of curiosity about what’s out there from these photos. For the full 20 check out the blog post on designdazzling.com, they’re definitely worth a look. Behance Network is a great site where creative professionals can showcase their work and connect with each other. There is a real mix from all creative areas from fashion, photography, video, animation, typography, interior design, digital artwork, advertising, illustration, painting, everything you can think of in the creative arena. My creative artwork is nowhere near up to the standard I would want to publish as some of the work on here is fantastic. Thought id share a couple of my favourites with you.
I’m loving Skull Repeat by Ollie Munden think it would make a fab wallpaper for my flat.
Take a look at Lars Wunderlich Illustrations 2009 everything’s a bit weird but think that’s why I like it so much, everytime I look at it I notice something different. The works from Peach Beach an agency from Berlin.
